A huge thank you to all our very generous BODYWAR clients who donated gifts for the kids at Campbelltown Hospital. The nursing unit manager said it was the biggest donation they had ever received, so thanks to you guys we are going to make a lot of kids that are stuck in hospital over Christmas very happy! Thanks also to Jade Antala who has a heart of gold and for coming up with with the idea.

BODYWAR 24HR Team Race against cancer
BODYWAR hosted its own 24hr team race event to raise money for the 24hr fight against cancer. We raised a staggering $26 000 on the day!!!
The entire BODYWAR team helped fundraise whilst loads of BODYWAR clients participated in the 24hr Walk with many camping out overnight to support those who walked & ran the entire time.
A massive thank you to all BODYWAR clients that took part in BODYWAR’s Clothing Donation for the Salvation Army. I am proud to announce that the final number of bags donated was 201 which is awesome!
That’s a fantastic effort and just shows once again how BODYWAR clients rise to any challenge that we put out there and together as a team can make a difference. We hope that all the clothes donated help many people in our local community. Go team BODYWAR!
Club Cycle – 24HR Indoor Challenge
BODYWAR clients where quick to put their hand up to secure a spot in BODYWAR’s first fundraising event for 2012 ! Clients took part in the Club Cycle 24 Hour Indoor Challenge to help raise money for children affected by HIV & AIDS in Cape Town, South Africa.
The BODYWAR team raised just over $800 which went towards a grand total of $16,000 raised by all teams taking part in the event.
Fundraising session for the QLD floods
BODYWAR clients got right behind the idea of a fundraising session for the Premiers Disaster Relief Appeal.
Together the body war team raised an amazing $1,860 for the QLD flood disaster.
Fight Against Cancer MacArthur
BODYWAR clients raise $15,000 for the 24hr Fight Against Cancer Macarthur !
The entire BODYWAR team helped fundraise while 100 BODYWAR clients participated in the 24hr Walk with many camping out overnight to support those who walked & ran the entire time. A big congratulations to Harry Newman who is a BODYWAR client that has cancer himself and achieved his goal to walk & run for 24hrs straight. Harry did 126kms (315 laps) equivalent to 3 back-to-back marathons – a true inspiration to us all !
Westmead Children’s Hospital
The BODYWAR team raised an AMAZING $4,731.25 through our Fundraising Fitness Challenge for The Childrens Hospital at Westmead. A wonderful day had and a huge thank you to everybody who participated.
